The people of Lakeland city wrote a letter to Queen Elizabeth to help them restore the swans in their area. And as to answer the people’s request, the queen sent 2 of the most Royal Swans in the palace and given to Lakeland. In the year 2006, due to a natural phenomenon, Scott Lake almost dried up and was later on refilled to restore its water resource.

The city of Lakeland is being governed by six city member council joining and working hand in hand with one mayor. In totality, the city of Lakeland is filled with security because it has its own public safety task force that will easily respond to whatever emergency that their residents might encounter. A sheriff is being put into office to be the head of the Public Safety and Crime unit of the city today. Most of the time, they are the ones who lead the protection team to any crime scene in their area of responsibility.
